Sittin' in a Hot Living Room. . .

. . . having a (slowly warming) glass of wine. . .

. . . trying to figure out how to "make lemonade" (as the saying goes). . .

. . . mentally preparing myself for dealing with a somewhat hostile primary grade class tomorrow. . .

. . . and desperately trying to reconstruct the cover letter I lost when Lappy the Laptop checked out.

Hot? Really? It was nice here today, but not to the point of hot.

Best of luck with the lemons etc.

Clarification: it hit 71 today, but when I got home the apartment was at 78-79 and doesn't seem to want to cool down even with a fan in the window.

Oh, and thanks about the lemons. :)

Hostile primary graders, eh? I suggest wearing camouflage clothes and face paint. The face paint really puts that final touch on the look. You'll have them dropping and giving you 20 pushups in no time. ;)

Lemonade...

...Make a towel animal, place it on your bed, and enjoy a fruity cocktail as you lay out dinner in a buffet style. Voila, you are on a cruise, got to bring your cat, and it didn't cost anything. Aren't you glad to be there? Ahhhh, the tropical weather when everyone else you know is enjoying winter. :)

As for the primary graders... chuck 'em off the Lido deck. *cough*

Oh dear! I hope you had great success with both the cover letter and the hostile little ones!

Dave--yeah, maybe I should just make them do push-ups until they're ready to have class in a civilized manner! Good idea!

Sara--gonna have to go look up how to make towel animals, I guess. I did make an iced coffee tonight.

Angela--yay, comments work for you again! Well, the good news is that I found an old cover letter on a flash drive that I could've sworn I'd checked before. The kids were savages but I got them to their buses and cars safely, so my work was done.
