I think Labs are great dogs, but the blond ones are kinda dumb.

Well, you know what they say about blondes. :)

No way that dog wasn't stung if that hive had been live. I'm guessing it went after the honey and it liked how the bees were crunchy. Sammy ate some mind-boggling stuff too, but I learned not to worry about it too much. It came out one end or the other.

wv: sence. The wrong thing to look for in what a young lab eats.

I think most labs are pretty smart except when it comes to food, or anything that in the slightest way appears edible. Then their brains just shutdown.

What is it with most dogs that they will just eat anything? Their ancestry?

I don't know, maybe. Perhaps that wild instinct to gorge, because you never know for sure when the next meal will happen, has never left them. I've seen little dogs that were finicky about their food, but never a big dog that was that way.

Well, you know if little dogs fatten up they might look tasty to the bigger dogs. :)
