Here Goes Nothing

Just printed off a cover letter to go with my resume' so I can fax them tomorrow after school. Maybe my G.P.A. will overshadow my lack of experience. And just maybe some school would be willing to give a fledgling a chance. Thy will be done, Lord--but I'm sure You know I'm stressing about the whole no-income thing right now. . .

Heh. Ugh. I completely understand how you feel. I'm going to be there very, very soon. I have no job experience whatsoever, so I'm hoping my having a college degree and soon an MA will overshadow the fact that I have no experience. I personally don't see the big deal, because I'm smart and I'm an extremely fast learner, but other people don't necessarily know what I do. Hmmph.

Good luck, Kate. You'll be fine, just hang in there.

Lindsay--Yeah, that's how it's been with me, all my post-college career. I tried to knock their socks off in the cover letter. Then I can really wow 'em in the interview!

Amy--Thanks, and I'll second that. (Maybe it was St. Rita who helped the fax go through without a hitch. . . but the color copier I needed to do portfolio stuff was broken. That's her way sometimes.)

Dave--Thank you!!!
